I am a seasoned therapist with two decades of wide ranging counseling experience, dedicated to helping adults, couples, and families navigate the complexities of life. I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. This transformative approach allows us to explore the intricate landscape of your internal world, where thoughts, feelings, and sensations reside.
Together, we will embark on a journey to understand and heal the parts of you that may be burdened by beliefs that no longer serve you. These facets of your inner self often trace back to deeper vulnerabilities and wounds that are longing for connection and healing.
In our sessions, I integrate various therapeutic techniques, including breathwork, meditation, and Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO-Couples Therapy), tailored to your unique needs. My commitment to IFS is evident in my role as a Program Assistant for the IFS Institute Level 1 course and working directly with Dick Schwartz and Jeanne Catanzaro's Harmony Within Workshop. IFS empowers you to become the architect of your own healing, as we work together to nurture self-awareness, self-compassion, and inner harmony.
The practice of bringing awareness to our body, thoughts, and actions, even for just one moment a day, can be life altering. A daily mindfulness (meditation) practice is at the center of my well-being and works as a foundation for being present with you.
We all have different parts inside of us, this is perfectly normal. But our relationship with some parts is often better than others, and a wonderful path to healing and growth is to repair our relationship with all of our parts. IFS is an evidence based therapy.
Breathwork journeys are a form of holistic practice that involves conscious and controlled breathing techniques to induce a non-ordinary state of consciousness to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
